what to expect:
~formal art opening and kid's art created by various area elementary schools
~coloring contest, crafts and sugar skulls for the kids to decorate!
~we are asking donations for our limited edition collapsible bags, proceeds go to Columbus Dog Connection. They will be in attendance Friday night only, with a few dogs and cats available for adoption, so prepare your heartstrings:)
~There will be food provided by Pattycake Bakery! Sugar skulls, cookies, cupcakes!
in addition, Vitamin Water and bottled water for $1
~costumes are welcomed, but you will certainly not be turned away for not wearing one :)
~Ryan Moya will be DJ'ing throughout the evening.

~fine art by international and local talent, curated to fit the theme. All work is available

~ThoughtCO will be printing t-shirts with the Por Vida owl image linework for anyone that wants to represent Por Vida III! Bring your own t-shirt and it's only $5, or purchase one of theirs for $12. They will offer all sizes, large and small.
~traditional and interpretative Day of The Dead costumes, this is not a Halloween party.
However, if you are coming from another event or party, of course you are welcome. We just do not wish for the meaning of Por Vida to be lost here. You are welcome with or without costume, and you will soon see just how unique the Por Vida crowd can be.

11pm ~ Moonhigh
performing with a unique set and visual performance exclusive to Por Vida III.
after Moonigh ~ Kristina Isabelle and Lisa Vining have prepared a performance that pays homage to the dead.
"A dancer comes back from the dead to reflect on her life as a dancer"
This performance begins right after Moonhigh, be prepared to partake, as you'll be asked to contribute to the performance.
ALL NIGHT:
DJ Captain Lonesome will be spinning some old and rare tunes throughout the night for all who would like to skake them bones.
Nickie Sloan will be reading tarot cards for anyone that would like to make this type of connection on Saturday. Donations accepted for this.
Brian Reaume "sanctuary room" is available to all this year. Friday we will unveil this incredible installation. If you came to Por Vida I and II, you know what's in store, but if you can imagine it, he has raised the bar.

Por Vida pays our respects to our lost loved ones. This is what the event is ALL about. We dedicate our "wall of remembrance" to these people, pets, ideas, etc. You are asked to bring photographs and stories of and about these subjects that you can hang up to show who or what you are commemorating. Please do not bring originals if you wish to have them back, as we cannot be responsible for returning these items once our event is over. We reserve the right to remove any offensive material, so please be respectful.
